Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above. For breath, for bread, for the people who have been kindness to me, for the Word that still speaks, I give you thanks. Keep me from the amnesia of self-made stories. Let gratitude become the way I see, not a task I perform. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
