The debt you cannot pay, and the one you will not hold
Forgiveness is not pretending the wound did not happen. It is refusing to make the other person pay a price Jesus already paid.
Reflection
We forgive because we have been forgiven a larger sum. That does not make it easy. It makes it possible, and it keeps bitterness from becoming a second home.
Practice. Pray one honest good for someone who owes you. You do not have to feel it yet.
