When the valley is not a metaphor
The Bible does not hurry mourners. It sits with them, names the loss, and promises a God who collects tears and will one day wipe them.
Reflection
Jesus wept at a tomb he was about to empty. That is permission to grieve and a hint that grief is not the last chapter.
